TODAY WAS AWESOME

In the morning I went to Starbucks (I don't feel bad about not supporting a local coffee shop because the Brits are obsessed with coffee. about 567340589 coffee shops on every corner and street and they're almost always all full :|) for light breakfast/lunch and a chai, and the barista and I happily chatted about Disney since my Steamboat Willie shirt made her happy :D
WEEEEELL basically I spent the entire day at the Cathedral. I'd gone, what, yesterday or the day before, but unfortunately my camera battery died in the middle of everything, so I couldn't take more pictures. So I had to go buy a camera battery charger, which is around when I lost my card e_e That was the last purchase I had made. /not bitter, no
So I charged the battery and went back! Took tons more pictures. UNFORTUNATELY TO MY FURY THE BATTERY DIED AGAIN WITHIN 30 MINUTES DESPITE SAYING IT WAS CHARGED. ARGH.
Eh, but whatever. I made do with my stupid camera phone. Sadly I don't know how to send pictures I've taken myself to an email or something, so I can't get those off quite yet. BUT DON'T DESPAIR.
I'm extremely lucky that I came to England when I did! Because the private gardens in the Cathedral were open to the public! They were gorgeous and so very English. The weather was amazing, and I had tea and cake in one of the gardens :D What a perfect English experience. I talked to a lot of Brits, and ranted about the poor state of America and how Bush was AWFUL and I certainly didn't vote for him, and such. I talked longest with this lovely elderly lady; she and her husband made such a stereotypical elderly British couple, I love it XD He barely said a word and she did most of the talking. And they talked about their trip to Canada and such. And then they bought me scones D: They were so sweet;;;

I was going to start posting pictures, but there are too many and I'm too lazy |D

I'm glad you're enjoying yourself in England! I was worried that the events in your previous entries would put you off it...

Ah, yes, coffee shops. We do have a lot of them. Though I'm pretty sure America still has more: when we went to NY on a school trip, I know everyone was stunned by how there was actually a Starbucks on every corner. Was cool, though.

Hey! Wow, that's awesome and a bit ironic! I have my lover coming from the United Kingdom to America tomorrow, to live with me for a month! We've known one another for six years. =D Either way, WAY TO GO.
